Treatments and Prices

Such a wonderful experience. Jo is clearly very experienced as a reflexologist and seems to really enjoy her work. She is very friendly and put us completely at ease, my 3 year old loves her! Very relaxing and I felt so much better after all my sessions. Thank you so much.             Bex, October 2018

Foot Reflexology

£30 for 1 hour

Reflexology encourages the body to return to balance and promotes self-healing.  Using thumb, finger and hand techniques on the reflex areas we can reduce stress, which naturally promotes improving circulation, reducing body tension and enhancing relaxation.

Hand Reflexology

£20 for 30 mins

Equally as effective as foot reflexology.

There are reflex points on the hands that correspond to every organ, gland and part of the body and by using the unique thumb and finger techniques on these reflexes, the body responds by relaxing, rebalancing and improving blood circulation.

Facial Reflexology - (the Bergman method)

£30 for 30 mins

Facial Reflexology promotes a kinder, holistic approach to helping you naturally look your best. It will leave you feeling blissed-out, with a smoother face to match.  For many women, this will eliminate the need for Botox and offers a natural alternative to dermal fillers. It's all about ageing well.

Head-to-toe Reflexology

£45 for 1 hour

Starting with deeply relaxing Facial Reflexology, which stimulates all the reflexes throughout your body and promotes your complexion to look glowing and rejuvenated, then moving on to Foot or Hand Reflexology to complete this nurturing treatment.

Reflexology for children

£20 for 30 minutes

A very gentle treatment, it can help boost immunity and balance each body system to help combat many childhood ailments such as seasonal allergies, sleeping problems and digestive issues

Thai Foot Massage

£30 for 1 hour

If you have aching legs and feet, maybe after a long day at work, then this deeply relaxing massage will make you feel as if you're walking on air.  It's similar to Reflexology, but focuses more on massage and also uses a stick to stimulate the reflex points.

Reproductive Reflexology

£30 per session (Initial consultation £60)

Reproductive Reflexology can be used as a stand-alone treatment to enhance your natural fertility or with all forms of assisted conception including Clomid, IUI, IVF and ICSI. It can also be used to support individuals and couples using surrogacy or donors in IVF cycles.

Foot Soak and invigorating Foot Rub

£5 in addition to your regular treatment

Foot soaks and rubs combined with reflexology help to improve circulation and stimulate the body’s own healing process.

It will help the body to detox, leaving you feeling invigorated, relaxed and pampered.

I use Neal's Yard Lavender Foot Soak salts and Pumice Foot Rub.

What to Expect in the First Session

For your first session I will ask you to fill out a brief (and confidential) consultation form, which is intended for contact information and to learn about you, your health and your medical history.

Afterwards, we will chat for a few minutes about this information and what you'd like from the session.

Both Reflexology and Thai Foot Massage are done on bare feet (Thai Foot Massage works up to the knees).  If your feet are sensitive, please let me know and we can adjust accordingly.  It's all about making you feel comfortable, so if there is anything you need or are worried about, please let me know.
During the session you will lie on a massage couch and I'll give you a glass of water - it's very important to drink plenty of fluids during and after a treatment.

When working on the feet I will use a variety of techniques (Thai Foot Massage also uses sticks) - some of these are for relaxation but most are intended to address the reflexes of the feet. These reflex techniques typically apply deeper pressure to help stimulate deficient energy flow in the feet, in effect stimulating and relaxing the entire body. If the pressure or sensation is too intense please let me know.  Throughout the session I'll feedback to you what I'm finding and which reflexes I'm working on, if you wish me to.

The treatment lasts for 45 minutes - 1 hour, depending on your needs.

You may experience a range of reactions during treatment - this is usually a feeling of being chilled or cold (I have blankets!), feeling light headed or having hot flushes, rumbling stomach or just feeling very relaxed.  I have sometimes had clients report that they feel warmth in the part of the body that corresponds to the reflex that I've been working on.

By the end of a treatment, clients should feel deeply relaxed and often report getting a great night's sleep.  It is important to note that everyone's reactions are different and no matter how insignificant these reactions may feel, they are important because they show how your body is responding to treatments.  You may experience:

- lethargy or feeling sleepy

- having a headache

- feeling energised

- needing to urinate more often

- feeling more balanced and able to cope with life's ups and downs

- having more frequent bowel movements

- having a stuffy or runny nose

- feeling emotional

- feeling generally happier

Subsequent Treatments

A single treatment can be wonderfully relaxing, but the best results are achieved with regular treatments - having one or two treatments a week will help to kick-start the benefits and after that, a treatment once every four weeks works for most clients.  Of course, a more intense treatment plan may be required when working with specific conditions.  This will all be discussed with you at the time and the decision is yours.

It's my experience that Reflexology is a wonderful treatment for people of all ages to support and relax them, boost their overall health and wellbeing, improve their ability to cope, help them through times of emotional turmoil and also support them with a variety of health challenges.
